About the Author
Clifford W. Eischen is Professor Emeritus of Business Administration at Fresno City College, where he served as department chair for seven years. Professor Eischen earned his master's degree in business from California State University at Fresno. He is a Nationally Certified Resume Writer, NCRW, one of 31 certified in the United States by the National Association of Resume Writers, whose organization consists of 368 members. Professor Eischen has an extensive background in leadership positions in career development, higher education, financial and small business management, and dispute resolution in central California. He has been a consultant and seminar director in resume and career development, cultural awareness, public and human relations, business law, and supervision and principles of management. Professor Eischen is the co-owner of Eischen's Professional Resume Service, located in Fresno, CA, since 1972. Professor Eischen has received the prestigious Hayward Award of Excellence in Education (1994) nomination and the National Institute for Staff Organizational Development Award (1993). In addition, he has achieved leadership roles in the California Business Education Association, Western Business Law Association, Faculty Association, Educational Employees Credit Union (formerly Chairman), and Certified Negotiating Council.

Lynn A. Eischen is a Certified Professional Resume Writer (CPRW) and is affiliated with the National Association of Resume Writers. She has an associate degree in marketing from Fresno City College, with career experience as an account executive/territory manager serving business and retail markets throughout California. Rhonda Jones and her work is amazing, and changing the lives of so many. I was originally looking for some "Christian" Meditations to do, to calm me, and I stubbled onto her website: thechristianmeditator.com This book will change your outlook on life. Life Changing!!!

I am on Day 27 and loving every minute of it. I am a counselor and have learned many of the concepts taught thus far but Rhonda Jones has a gift of presenting things from a spiritual standpoint that just makes sense. I am finding that at the end of the day's reading I want more and can't wait to the next day. Learning tips that help me to do what I've desired for many years, to turn over the mind to God, has changed my life. The meditations are absolutely amazing and even though the same ones are repeated the effect on any given day is different. Rhonda's voice and her emphasis on claiming God's Word make meditation much more powerful than any others I have heard in the past. I am finding that I am using many of the examples in my counseling practice and I have recommended this book and Rhonda's meditations/affirmations to every one of my clients. I just believe they are that effective and I am not easily impressed. The title "Help Me God! Change My Life!" is perfect because that is exactly what transpires, surrender to God and allowing Him to change your life.

I suspect that it is the same force that drives auto enthusiasts to take an old Model T Ford car and restore it. They certainly don’t have the power and ease of operation of modern automobiles but they are extraordinarily fun to drive! Unlike other books about old cameras this one does not dwell on the fine technicalities of the individual camera (although limited technical data is present) but to present images taken with each camera to show the reader concrete examples of images taken with each model

OK if you want to only look at pictures

The clue is in the description: "Approximately 225 pages with about 220 color images and this book is ENTIRLY(sic) pictorial."

The title is "Shooting Old Film Cameras..." - well this is quite misleading in my opinion - it is basically a 5 page introduction describing the author's biography followed by a bunch of repetitive and quite boring photographs. Nothing at all to do with the best way to use the RB67 - tricks and tips, that sort of thing. There may have been some redeeming aspect if with each photograph, some form of commentary had been provided - perhaps even a sentence describing the lens and film used. However, that would assume one was wanting to use a similar technique in a current setting. That would be fine if you wanted to create second rate nude photos in a 1960's amateur style. Luckily this 'book' was available for Kindle loan and I didn't waste any money, or a great deal of time, on this 'book'. You are better off getting hold of a copy of "Medium and Large Format Photography" by Roger Hicks http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0715311174/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Terrific, but $59+ is a ripoff

This is a terrific idea, and almost perfectly executed. You can record your reading of the story, and save it so that it can't be erased unless you flip a hidden switch. The only problem is that you have to read more quickly than I think you should in order not to be cut off. I got this at a Hallmark Gold Crown store with a discount coupon. It must be popular, because all the Hallmark stores in my area are sold out (just after Thanksgiving!). But the $59.99 pricetag advertised here is way out of line; it's a ripoff from someone who must have stocked up on them and is now trying to make a profit.

Great idea, a few bugs to iron out

My grandchildren live on the West Coast and I live on the East Coast so what is a grandma to do? When I saw the commercial for these recordable books, I was at the Hallmark store the next day to buy three for them.

The books are nicely done even if they seem a little short on content, but then I'm no longer a little kid and might have an adult's point of view on how much time I'd like to read before bedtime. So we'll dismiss that one.

Where I did have a problem was with the actual recording of the stories. While recording "The Night Before Christmas" the amount of time alotted in the recording function was too short to really read the poem with anything other than a very fast and clipped pace. I had to rush to read the whole page without getting cut off. Let me add that I used to do voice-overs for radio professionally so I know how to read copy. This was just too fast for this story.

The second problem is the recording quality. The microphone is very sensitive, which is a good thing. The playback is tinny and way too loud. I ended up having to whisper throughout the whole story in order to make it a comfortable level to listen to. In other words, at normal volume, the playback hurts the ears.

I like the concept, glad I bought them but wish I could tweak the mechanics of it a bit. I also bought "Hey Diddle, Diddle" and "Frosty the Snowman".
