It will be a miracle if the movie gets made before Davina ends up fired, in jail or in Jack's bed!

His dark eyes stared up at her.
“Sweetheart, you have your cleavage in my face and your hand down my trousers. There is nothing about this I understand.”

Cute. Fun. Silly. I enjoyed it.

Jack is a cop currently on leave. He kind of loses his mind and does stupid things when he’s around Davina. He makes inaccurate assumptions and it’s funny.
I often times don’t like inaccurate assumptions because they are not done well ( example: i.e. a character says something they don’t mean and the other is offended or hurt. A normal conversation would clear the air but that doesn’t happen.)
But in this story the inaccurate assumptions were believable, and I enjoyed the silly conflict. Example: Jack knows Davina is hiding something from him in her house. When Jack sees Davina using a large amount of light in the basement, he assumes she is growing marijuana. She was not, but that was a reasonable “inaccurate assumption” especially since he dealt with drug dealers as a cop.
The book was formerly titled “The Davina Code.”

Witty and intriguing read

If you love humour in your books, then you've found the right author. Janet Elizabeth Henderson knows how to write quirky characters and put the in tight spots, making for interesting and funny stories.
Davina is one crazy lady, with a plan to make herself famous.
Jack is a down and out ex cop who inherits a house, and Davina. Life just gets complicated from there. Every twist and turn Davina blocks Jacks attempts to find out what she's doing and Jack tries every trick in his ex police books to find out what she's hiding.
Loved Davina, or crazy Davy as Jack called her. Confused, insane, outta this world don't quite capture her uniqueness.
Get this book. You won't be disappointed.

Hilarious

Damian wants to make a movie. The only poo problem is she's trying to make the movie at her home on stolen movie equipment or miss appropriate equipment, as Davina plans on returning it once she's done. The equipment is the least of her problems. Jack Miller shows up and tells her he's the new owner of the house and wants to inspect the inside. Damian doesn't want him in the house until she's done with her movie and has a change to return the movie equipment. This sets off crazy time as the two try everything in their power to keep each other from their goal.
